CITATION
Hi All,
After a lot of sweat and tears, we've just completed and posted
TealLock 6 Alpha 1. This is the first step in our new program
TealLock 6 that we're writing from scratch to replace the existing
TealLock program:
http://www.tealpoint.com/download/beta/teallock6.zip
This first version is really more of an interface prototype than a
real alpha, as it doesn't do anything useful yet. Instead, it shows
off a new look with all the settings screens fairly complete, and is a
representative of what features we'll be trying to implement in the
new program version.
Still, programming user interfaces is perhaps the most painful part of
PalmOS development, so having this done is a big step. It's also a
big reason we wanted to rewrite TealLock under our TICL library; it
was getting too difficult to add more features into the cramped
settings screens of the old program using the cumbersome Palm GUI
API's.
So, this is the perfect time to make sure all the features you've
wanted get into the design before we get into coding the meaty bits.
Please download this new version (this is not the same as the TealLock
5 beta) and post any requests or comments back to TealTalk.
Thanks!
-t
PS: Again, most functions aren't implemented yet in this release, so
if you post a message pointing out functions not working, you agree to
let everyone in this group ridicule you for not reading the
directions.
