La version 1.2 beta du driver CompactFlash Eruware est disponible pour toutes les personnes ayant acqui une licence. La vesion 1.2 définitive sera disponible dans une semaine si aucun bug n'est découvert jusque-là.
Voici la copie du mail envoyé par Eruware qui décrit cette nouvelle version :
Version 1.2 of the CompactFlash Storage Card Driver for the Sony Clie is now available for Beta testing to all EruWare customers. If no major issues are discovered after approximately one week, Version 1.2 will become an official release.
Improvements in version 1.2 include:
Dual MS Mode. This allows you to use applications such as Audio Player and Movie Player without the need to enter MS Cloaking (formerly called "MS Masquerading") mode. The major advantages of this are that the MS is fully usable in this mode and no soft reset is required to enter or exit from it.
Names clarified. To avoid confusing users, we changed the name of "MS Masquerading" to "MS Cloaking".
Mode switching is more convenient. Users no longer need to mount and unmount cards to switch into and out of Cloaking and Dual MS modes. Where appropriate, the utility will automatically unmount and remount the cards.
Movie Player now works without the need for a memory stick. In Dual MS mode, Movie Player will recognize the CF as an MS and will not require that you have an MS inserted to operate. Also while in Movie Player, you can remove the main card and it will refresh the display to show the movies on the remaining card. Popping the original card back in causes Movie Player to show the files on that card again.
More stability. This version should be as stable as or more stable than Version 1.0.
