CITATION
A SanDisk spokesperson today confirmed to infoSync that SanDisk is planning to introduce Palm OS support for its SDIO Wi-Fi card in December. The card, which currently only supports devices based on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC platform, will see the introduction of Palm OS 5.x drivers that would theoretically enable the card to function with devices such as palmOne's Tungsten line of handhelds - provided there are no hardware incompatibility issues.
According to SanDisk, owners of the card will be able to download drivers either from the SanDisk web site directly or from the new palmOne web site.
